Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist

The Very Rev. Carl A. Last, ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee in 1969,  received his post graduate degree in theology with emphasis on liturgical studies from the University of Notre Dame.  He served as Executive Secretary of the FDLC and as consultant to the BCL from 1976 - 1981. In 1981 he returned to the seminary and served as Director of Continuing Formation for Clergy. After a study sabbatical in Rome, Fr. Carl was appointed pastor of Corpus Christi Parish in 1986. In 1992 he was appointed pastor of St. Matthias Parish until he was named Director of the Cathedral Project. In addition to serving as the Director of the Cathedral Project, Fr. Carl was appointed Rector and Pastor of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in July of 2001.
