“The period of mystagogy after the reception of the sacraments of baptism, confirmation and eucharist is a time for the community and the neophytes to grow in deepening their grasp for the paschal mystery and in making it part of their lives through meditation on the Gospel, sharing in the eucharist and doing works of charity. Like the formation received during the catechumenate, this time of continuing formation must be based upon participation in the liturgy of the Church, on-going catechesis in harmony with the liturgical year; immersion into the Christian way of life and participation in apostolic works (cf. RCIA #75)” This series of reflections and practical suggestions for parish initiation teams and pastoral ministers is arranged according to those four categories: liturgy, catechesis, the Christian way of life, and apostolic works. Available in English (Spanish in preparation) either printed or digital format (pdf).
