We look forward to welcoming you to the fifty-second national meeting of diocesan liturgical commissions! The good folks of Region Eleven are excited at the prospect of welcoming you to beautiful San Diego, September 28-30. For those of you who cannot yet travel, we are also offering a virtual option.
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! You will find the full registration brochure at https://www.fdlc.org/2021. It contains all the exciting details of our national meeting including the schedule, a summary of the events, safety protocols, hotel information, an optional day tour, and more!
We will focus on the Order of the Dedication of a Church and an Altar. Each keynote and workshop will draw its inspiration from the multi-faceted Prayer of Dedication. In addition, the days will include fine liturgies, the “Morning with the BCDW,” opportunities for networking, exhibits, business and committee sessions, and memorable social activities. On Tuesday evening, we will travel to the historic Mission San Diego de Alcalá founded by Saint Junipero Serra – the first of the twenty-one famed California missions. Our principal celebrant for the opening Mass will be Archbishop José Gomez of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and President of the USCCB.
HOW TO REGISTER
We have provided an easy, online registration form. https://www.fdlc.org/2021/register. Once you enter all your information, workshop selections, and meal choices, simply choose your payment method – check or credit card. (Hint we actually prefer that you mail a check since it saves us considerable fees. Perhaps your diocese or parish also requires you to submit a formal check request.) Finally, hit “submit” and you will receive an automated confirmation and invoice. That’s it!
As usual, all registered persons will receive additional materials and information later in the summer.
We are most grateful for the very kind invitation of Bishop Robert McElroy and for the hard work of our Local Chair, Dr. Noreen McInnes of the Diocese of San Diego. The entire region has been actively and creatively preparing for your arrival. They have attended to countless details and assure us of a warm California welcome! See you in September!
